XFYD's Westminster Branch is proud to continue our deep commitment to bringing enrichment to underserved communities, helping dozens of young kids find a passion for learning and science. This recent STEM night was just one of many bringing hands-on activities and experiments to Thomas House Youth Shelter.

Beyond Blindness
Balloon Cars

The XFYD Westminster branch taught children at Beyond Blindness, a children blindness education center, how to make their own balloon racing cars. This class introduced and guided the students in STEM.

Melbourne Elementaty

XFYD partnered with Melbourne Elementary School to support Ms. Leon’s after-school tutoring program. Our volunteers worked with a group of about 10 students, helping them strengthen their academic skills in a focused and supportive environment.

The XFYD Milipitas branch had success in its' chess class led by Om Suthar. This engaging and interactive program introduced elementary school students to the fundamentals of chess, helping them build a strong foundation in strategy and gameplay.

Our volunteers organized three fun activities for students to participate in, exploring fun ideas in Chemistry and Physics. We also designed and hand-crafted nearly 50 take-home Science Kits for parents and students to take home and further their exploration of science on their own in a fun and hands-on kit.

Whether it be math, science, or English, we choose only the best-suited tutors for your child. All the proceeds of our private tutoring go directly back into free classes.

XFYD is honored to be recognized by the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) program. Our organization proudly celebrates the dedication of our members, having awarded numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards to those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and contributed extensive hours to meaningful community service.
Volunteers with XFYD can track their service hours through our organization, ensuring their efforts are recognized. Whether their service hours are completed with XFYD or through other volunteer activities, they are eligible for the prestigious PVSA awards. By providing a platform for facilitating recognition through the PVSA Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, XFYD continues to encourage and honor the spirit of volunteerism and community contribution among its members.

STEM Classes

XFYD is proud to offer several STEM classes for our students. We have our instructors teach subjects including Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics. We plan to continue inspiring STEM in our students through our STEM tournament and Science Night outreach events!

XFYD is proud to offer a host of classes in the humanities, including Art, Dance, and Chess. Our dance and music students go on to perform at our local senior center, while our Chess students compete in our Seasonal Chess Tournaments!
