XFYD is super excited to announce our new Intermediate Chess class! As January has started, Xanadu For Young Dreamers (XFYD) is offering a hybrid (online and in person) chess class that will teach students intermediate chess skills, that will allow for students to become well versed in the art of chess.
After this class, students will be able to compete at a higher level, such as in local competitions and tournaments.
Our class is made to encourage higher-order thinking abilities, such as problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, planning, and even creative thinking, which can be developed through chess training and practice.

For all people coming in person, here are the instructions for getting into the classroom.
1. Drive into the parking lot
2. Go into the side building with the classrooms
3. Enter the classroom on the right
If you cannot find the classrooms, the teachers will be at the parking lot to guide you to the classrooms! Thank you!
